Introduction to Stamping
You’ve been inspired by her samples, now let Kathy teach you everything you need to know about basic rubber stamping techniques and projects, including extensive education on the various inks. After this class, you will be motivated and equipped with the knowledge and confidence you need to tackle any of your own projects!

Watercolor Pencil Techniques
There is no other medium that can compare to the beautiful transparent look of watercolor! Come and learn the basic techniques used to create glazes, washes, and glowing layers using a variety of watercolor products from the craft industry. Mediums include watercolor pencils, Peerless watercolor pads and distress reinkers. Class will also include techniques including Direct to Rubber and spritzing.

Beginner Alcohol Marker Techniques
If you haven’t joined the alcohol marker craze yet, here is your chance to learn from a veteran instructor. Creative Pals now provides 3 different marker options to meet our students needs. Whether it be ProMarkers, Kurecolor, Marvy or Copic, the techniques are the same. Mix and match these markers to your favorite liking and budget.
Kathy is Copic Marker Certified, has 12 years of teaching experience with colorization, and is the head colorist for Whipper Snapper Designs, Inc. Join her as she shares with you the knowledge and techniques she uses to create the vibrant samples you see throughout Creative Pals.
This power-packed class covers everything you need to take your coloring skills to designer-level status.
Please note this is a technique class - sample cards will not be made.

Advanced Alcohol Marker Class - New Class!!
This advanced class is designed for the alcohol marker enthusiast who is ready for more artistic level coloring. Instruction includes creating visual dimension through the placement of highlights and shadows, shading using advanced color theory, and creation of "special effects" using blender fluid.This class will also teach our EXCLUSIVE "faux watercoloring" technique!
**Please bring your alcohol markers to this class.

Beginner Colored Pencil Techniques
You'll be amazed to learn how you can achieve the same vibrant results from pencils that you can from Copic markers! Class includes important information regarding selection of quality pencils and related tools as well as hands-on blending and layering techniques used by professional colored pencil artists.

Advanced Colored Pencil Techniques
This class has been added by special request. Participants will work on advanced level coloring projects designed to reiterate what was learned in the original technique class including multi media use with your Copics.
Pre-requisite: Colored pencil techniques and Copic marker techniques taught by Kathy.

Alcohol Markers/Colored Pencil Combination Workshop
Students will expand upon techniques learned in copic and pencil classes through hands-on card projects. All new projects will help students practice this mixed media concept of coloring that Kathy uses on her card samples.
Pre-requisite: Basic Copic Marker & Basic Colored Pencils classes taught at Creative Pals. Please bring your own markers and colored pencils!

Schedule You Own Private Class
If you like one of our classes and it doesn’t fit into your schedule; we can repeat it for you. A minimum of four students is required. Just contact the store and we will have Kathy call you with more information and to arrange a time for your group.

**Suggested Class Kit **
Please bring a small pair of detail scissors, Exacto knife, paper trimmer and adhesive of your choice. Also, bring your own Alcohol Markers for all Card Sampler Classes.
Class Policies
Class size is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
We have a minimum of 4 students per class. It is at the instructor’s discretion to cancel class if there are less.
Payment is required at the time of enrollment. We will not hold class space.
Payment can be made in the store or over the phone with a credit card.
Class fees are non-refundable unless the class is canceled by Creative Pals.
Cancelations made less than 72 hours prior will forfeit class fees.
No children under the age of 12 are permitted in classes without instructor consent.
All materials are provided, unless noted in class description.
